Alex Smyth is the newest member of the Capital City Runners team but definitely not the least experienced. Alex has over 7 years of experience in the specialty running footwear World working at The Balance Athlete in Renton, WA for 4 years and Road Runners Sports in Kent, WA for 3 years. His experienced background in fitting shoes has been a very valuable asset to our company but his connection to running is what helps him excel as a fit specialist. Not only does Alex have 7 years of experience professionally fitting shoes, he is also a graduate student at Florida State University where he is competing in his final season as a Nole on the Track and FIeld team. Most recently, Alex helped the FSU men's Cross-country team t their highest NCAA finish ever with their 2nd place performance. Alex is currently working toward his masters in Sports Management at FSU.
